With the project spanning over half a year, the concept, technology, and direction changed over time. Evolving from a fully animated piece, to a mixture of stock, VFX, and animation. The process of storyboarding, style frames, and animatics allowed key stakeholders the opportunity to glimpse the final product and make essential pivots earlier in the production timeline. With so many people involved, this was a major cost save.
